Stuff
A quick about us blah blah..
We have been putting on partys for a long time, going back to the late 80's in England. Now living in Holland we started to get booked to DJ at the 'Soulfire' night in the Effenaar Eindhoven, playing raw soul & funk 45's.
As well as the 'Soulfire' nights we continue to put on our own DRUMSUITE nights when we can. Apart from playing rare funk & soul 45's we dabble in roots reggae, dub & blues. We also continue to try and support todays new acts, who over the years we have had come and play at the 'Soulfire' and DRUMSUITE nights. Artists such as "Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings" " Lee Fields & The sugarman 3" "Big Daddy Moochin" "Lefties Soul Connection" and legends such as "Marva Whitney" "Maceo Parker" etc etc.

AUGUST 08 - 'GREGORY ISAACS - SECRETARY'
Because we're DJing at Reggae Sundance i've been digging through the crates (not that i need much of an excuse) getting my set together, and pulled out one of my favourite Gregory Isaacs 45's. The label 'African Museum' was formed by Gregory Isaacs and Errol Dunkley around 1970, the first releases on the label were' Look Before You Leap' by Gregory Isaacs and 'Movie Star' by Errol Dunkley. By 1972 the two had gone their seperate ways and Isaacs carried on with the label alone. Consequently most releases have Gregory Isaacs placed as either the vocal performer or producer. This 45 came out in 1979 and features Isaac in blistering form, soundfile to follow....
